To our Cedarlane Academy Thunderbird families,
In light of recent events and news surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we would like to share some information and get feedback from you regarding this year’s school yearbooks. As of today, the Hacienda La Puente USD has provided a tentative return to school date of May 5th. Understanding the situation is fluid, we want to be proactive and transparent, by informing you of the yearbook situation.
This year’s yearbooks, both Elementary and Middle School, will be affected by the reduced activity and shortening of the school year, possibly into summer. With that said, a good many of you have purchased the elementary and/or middle school yearbooks and ads and we would like to get your opinion on how you would like to proceed with your orders.
We should be able to publish the yearbooks and have them ready for distribution at Cedarlane Academy sometime during the SUMMER 2020 or possibly early next school year.
Here are your alternatives regarding the 2019-2020 Cedarlane Academy yearbook:
Request a refund of your yearbook payments, which will be accommodated through the records of orders received as of Friday, March 13. If you decide this would be best for you, please let us know at CedarlaneAcademyPTO@gmail.com and we will send you your refund as soon as we can.
If interested in purchasing a yearbook/personal ad, please email the Cedarlane Academy PTO at CedarlaneAcademyPTO@gmail.com with your order and then send your payment for the total, securely via Zelle through your bank to the same email address as soon as possible at: CedarlaneAcademyPTO@gmail.com

Pricing for each type of yearbook is as follows:
Elementary Yearbook $25.00
Middle School Yearbook (Softcover) $30.00
Middle School Yearbook (Hardcover) $35.00
Message/Business Ads:
⅛ page - Business Card size $10.00
¼ page $15.00
½ page $30.00
Full Page $50.00
If you have already purchased a yearbook or personal ad and would like to keep your order, retrieve your purchased yearbook either in the summer or during the next school year at Cedarlane Academy. Additional instructions will be provided at a later date.
For anyone who has purchased an ad, please email your message and picture to CedarlaneAcademyPTO@gmail.com as soon as possible so we can include it.
As an additional FUN assignment, we would like to request students to submit pictures of their activities with friends or by themselves, during this break from school, to include in this SPECIAL EDITION of the yearbook. Also, please include any comments about what you will remember the most about the COVID-19 break. If there are any teachers or parents who would like to share any additional pictures of their students at past Cedarlane events and functions this year, please feel free to submit them as well.
